From one course you can see the peaks of Andalusia and from others the North African coastline; wondrous views to compliment the game.

There are several courses you will most definitely want to experience and here we have whittled the courses down to a concrete 5:

One being the Volvo World Match Play Championships with the courses immaculate 18-hole green designed by Cabel B. Robinson. The 18-hole course is one of the longest in Europe stretching to an outstanding 6,800m. However, thanks to famous landscaper Gerald Huggan it has been designed to allude you of such distance. This course caters to all levels of play with five tee off positions to suit. The fee for play on either weekdays or weekends amounts to €265.

For those looking for a more relaxed game visit the Campo Europa course, sitting closely to the Ojén river.  Conversely, you can accept the challenge of the most difficult course, Campo Asia. It has four par-five holes with the last being the toughest one to handle. The Campo America sports views of both the Ojén mountains and the mediterranean sea from the mid range players favourite course. 3.Marbella Club, Mijas

Once again, the region of Mijas does not disappoint with the Marbella Club golf course. Designed by former professional golfer Dave Thomas. He previously reached the Open playoffs and competed copious times for the British Ryder Cup. This isn’t his first, Thomas has designed over a 100 courses worldwide. Each course is notorious for its testing bunkers and crisp curved fairways. Be warned, this is not for the novice golfer with three par-five holes in the handful. Once the seventh hole is reached, you will be rewarded with an extraordinary view of the Gibraltar rock and even Morocco’s coastline. Out of the three courses mentioned this certainly is the most affordable with a green fee of €100pp/d.
